An Invitation to Join the Heritage Society
Members of the Heritage Society have expressed their commitment to Jacksonville University and their confidence in the future of the university through a very special and important form of financial support.Through a planned gift, these donors support future generations of JU students. Heritage Society members have defined their legacy by:
- Remembering JU in their wills or as beneficiaries of their trusts
- Listing JU as a beneficiary of retirement accounts (retirement accounts left to individuals rather than to a tax-exempt organization like JU may be subject to taxes)
- Indicating JU as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy
- Establishing charitable remainder or charitable lead trusts with JU as a beneficiary
Upon completion of your estate plan or planned gift, please let us know. We want to recognize your generosity and vision and include you in the Heritage Society, too! Should you prefer no publicity regarding your gift, we understand and will keep the information private. Please still notify us so that we may properly thank you and make plans to ensure your wishes will be honored.
